LESS THAN ONE WEEK TO APPLY

More than 50 entrepreneurs from across the nation have submitted applications to the LaunchHouse Accelerator program. The application deadline for the LaunchHouse Accelerator is July 1, with the program to begin on September 4, 2012.

The Accelerator is modeled after the nation’s best incubators, like Y Combinator and Tech Stars. Ten teams will be selected for the 12-week program in September.

Each team will receive $25,000 in funding and will be surrounded with experience-based lab sessions, an innovative work environment, dinners and networking with successful entrepreneurs, and endless amounts of free coffee!

About the LaunchHouse Accelerator

The Ohio Third Frontier ONEFund Accelerator Program designated LaunchHouse to become one of four premier accelerators in the state. This designation carries a $200,000 ONEFund grant which will go directly to ten teams of entrepreneurs. The immersive development experience and methodology stresses a customer-centric focus, meaning that from the very beginning our entrepreneurs are striving to understand the needs of their customers. The Accelerator has taken a grass-roots approach to developing the methodology, as it has been co-designed with entrepreneurs and academics in order to create sessions that fulfill real and evolving needs of stakeholders. Entrepreneurs build skills sets in three primary areas: conceptual, technical and interpersonal.
