LAUNCHHOUSE IS NOW A ONE FUND ACCELERATOR

LaunchHouse has been selected to receive $200,000 funding from the Ohio Third Frontier program, the ONE Fund

LaunchHouse will allocate the funds to 10 entrepreneurial teams in software and web-based tech industries that will participate in the formalized LaunchHouse Institute accelerator program. The LaunchHouse Institute uses a collaborative approach to develop hands-on, pertinent experiences and funding to quickly take entrepreneurs, from idea to validation to proof of concept within twelve weeks.  Teams will be expected to reach milestones, work with mentors and build elements of their businesses in order to achieve follow on funding.

The LaunchHouse Institute leverages a customer-centric approach as part of the ONE Fund curriculum.  The entrepreneurial teams will develop testable, beta prototypes and engage interested investors, mentors, business professionals and others in the design of their business solutions.

“The ONE Fund will allow LaunchHouse to aggressively increase the assistance we are able to give to the region’s most promising entrepreneurs,” said LaunchHouse managing partner, Todd Goldstein.  “Through this program we will continue to increase the success rate and quality of entrepreneurs that are deciding to call Cleveland home.”

Following completion of the accelerator program, the Institute will host a “Showcase Day” to demo new, beta testable prototypes for investors, potential customers, other entrepreneurs and the general public.
