LaunchHouse Debut Gala, Huge Success

This past Saturday, February 18, more than 200 guests packed the Cleveland Skating Club in celebration of Clevelandentrepreneurship with the Shaker Heights Development Corporation and Shaker LaunchHouse. Not only did guests learn more about the LaunchHouse business accelerator and shared office space, they also mingled with friends and co-workers, browsed over 30 silent auction items, danced the night away with Cleveland band, Shout, and some even laced up ice skates to glide around the ice.

LaunchHouse team celebrate a successful event and fundraiser in support of Cleveland entrepreneurship.

With the support and sponsorship of the Shaker Heights Development Corporation, LaunchHouse was able to raise over $15,000 toward speaker series, educational workshops and networking events for Cleveland entrepreneurs, as well as to support internship programs at Shaker LaunchHouse. Over $4,000 was raised through the silent auction. Items were auctioned from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, Astor & Black, other Cleveland area retailers and restaurants and included one of a-kind art pieces. The night would not have been possible without some key sponsors: Top sponsor Brantley Partners, plus Huntington Bank, Kimball E. Rubin & Associates, Bizdom Cleveland and Cleveland State University Monte Ahuja College of Business.

“We are very grateful to everyone in the community who supported Cleveland entrepreneurship and LaunchHouse through this event,” said Todd Goldstein, LaunchHouse managing partner. “This out pouring of support is a step in the right direction for the region.”

It was a great night for entrepreneurship in Cleveland!
